These Starlings are getting high numbers here now and they need a cull.
But even so I do think they make for some good shots.

One of the real characters of the bird world are these Galah's.
This is a 3 shot stitching to get the 2 main subjects in the shot to be clear.

      G'day Arthur

Hmmmm - a varied collection today - #2 is a bit hard looking from below, but you have got a good eye shot anyway ... #1 certainly shows the plumage of the bird along with the camouflage-spots in the feathers, and #3 is possibly the most interesting coz it has the most visual base for the birds to be located on [if that makes sense]

Why it is a stitched crop rather than you backing off the zoom and cropping top/bottom to create the same result - I dunno - but the result is quite okay to my eyes

Time to answer the replies here.
Well with the 1st two I don't carry around a step ladder to get up closer to them.
I am unsure of how I can improve the angle of the shots when they are up there and I am on the ground.
I am will to listen to the tricks of the trade on cutting the angle down.
And if this sounds a little defensive the reason is it is.

The wrong time to take the shots of the other one is a point that I just find is wrong.
When you are like me and when you get out you don't worry about the timing of it.
Yep you can try to move so the sun isn't killing the shot.
But when I took these I was able to be sort of close to them and if I got out of the car the shot was dead.
So I went with what I had.

On the stitching or joining a few shots to get them to be like this was I never had one shot where I was looking for 2 birds in it.
So I took one shot of each one and when I got home I noticed it would look quite good.
Well in my own mind I thought it to be true.
So I had to put them together a few time to get the angles right and then crop and then do it all over again as they were not in the one spot.
