  • White Faced Heron

    This guy is still roaming amongst the reeds and still getting a feed. I took these to show the different poses for when it's hunting with it's eyes on the prize.
    The lake is drying up very quickly - sadly - so a good drop of rail is well overdue. (Photos in another post in Landscapes).

      Thanks Phil. I love to sit and watch these birds do their thing. They just ignore me while they are focused on a tasty treat under the water.

    Nice images Greg and a nice bird. Shame about the grass in images 1-3. Otherwise #3 would be my pick. Full hunter mode.

      Thanks Todd. I agree with the grass in the way. Maybe I should have edited it out but a lot of work to get it spot on and I have been a bit out of sorts lately. Coming back to normal slowly though - all good.
