3 more toucans

Here are the last 3 toucans. Does that make a six pack?

The first image is the is the Keel Billed Toucan or sometimes called a Rainbow Toucan. The locals sometimes refer it to a flying banana.

The second image is the Yellow Throated Toucan.

The last image is the Northern Emerald Toucanete eating a mulberry.

The first two are the largest of the toucans, they are a big bird and the Toucanet (below) is the smallest, about the size of a raven.

Toucans like fruit, other birds and small animals, whatever fits the "Bill" pun intended.

Amazing birds alright.
The background in #2 is a bit bright. It's outside my capabilities but others here might be able to change that background (i.e. ISAC).

They look fantastic birds Doug. I agree with Todd on #2, pretty easy to blend in another sky.

Yes replacement skies are easy to put in but not necessarily easy to make the new image believable. The background is cloud so and there is nothing in the background to give depth of field so a replacement sky may look very flat. I have lots of sky/cloud images taken at different times of day and different latitudes up to 66 north and I didn't think any would look believable.

Fascinating images mate. Perfect profile of the bird in #2. I know we have some of the best birdlife in the world here in Australia, but it’s always good to see what other countries have, and those Toucans are right up there.
