At the Lake with the Bigma!
22-12-2018, 05:57 PM
Went to the lake and took the Bigma for a workout. I think it works well for a cheapy. These are the resident White Faced Herons

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

You timed the day very nicely. Like the light in the first five particularly.
Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.

Thank you very much Hans. Before 9am. Too hot to be out there if it's mid morning or later.

Cheers Ironwood. I'm pretty happy with the Siggy at the moment. The 500 gets me in close and the birds are only about 20+ metres away most times.

I did buy the new Tamron 18-400. I use that for my every day lens ('cause I just love it) but I usually use the bigma for BIF, although it's not bad for stationary animals too.
