Had an unproductive morning at the wetlands. Kingfishers too high in the trees; honeyeaters that hid in the foliage. I was driving out when I noticed these two five or six metres from the access road. Parked the car and walked to their sunny side and got these. They were a bit shyer than ones I have seen before and wouldn't let me get too close, but managed to mostly fill thie frame. The ones I've seen in the past just acted like statues.
