  • Female Australasian Figbird

    I didn't think I'd be able to get anything out of these at all as the bird was in mixed sun and shade in among the branches of the tree it was feeding on. It also came too close to focus on at times - which is a change. ISO was higher than I'd like too. I think my Id is correct.

    Lovely shots wigz. I like the unusual pose of #2. They look similar to the wattle bird.

      Good clean shots,

      I think I got photos of some juveniles the last time I was in Queensland. I'll see if I can find them and you might be able to confirm for me.
