  • Got another Osprey this morning

After posting the osprey image this morning, I went down to Eagleby Wetland, not very hopeful as it was a bit late in the morning. I saw another photog there who said there was a sea eagle on the osprey pole (No nest on it). When I got there I saw it was an osprey not a sea eagle, which is a pity as I am still after a decent sea eagle photo. It was sitting on the top of the pole, so took a few shots, then it started stretching its wings and then flew off. The angle is a bit awkward.

I wasn't expecting it to be sharp as I had lowered the shutter speed and turned on IS to get better quality on the static subject, but it's not too bad.

You're right wigz, it's not too bad at all. I don't mind the angle, that's the way it was. Lovely colouring on the bird.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.
Also, my memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Nicely caught, a little soft but I would have liked to have taken it!

I'd be inclined to clone out the post. Nobody else needs to know that was there and it looks more menacing without it!

Thanks Greg. I thought about removing the post but decided against it, but I think you are right.
