I like the way the branches frame the bird, but the bird is a bit too mall in the frame. Then I clicked the image and saw the full size. That bird is sharp. The image would easily stand cropping to create a version that really shows off the bird. I think the full image as presented could be made stronger by cropping from the bottom so the main rrunk enters from the corner. Nice shot

Thanks Alan. I did think about cropping but wanted to see if the full image would hold up first.
      Here's a tighter crop.

What lens are you using Toddy? You can certainly get a decent crop with 42 mp. To play with provided you get it sharp to start with. The tighter crop looks good to me.

They look good. Two shots for the price of one. All those pixels come in handy at tines.

What a fabulous shot Todd. As the bird is looking out of the frame, IMHO I think that by moving the right side trunk towards the bird just a tad, would enable a ROT crop. I'd also remove the distracting little branches under the bird and do a shadows adjustment. Only my thoughts - I hope you don't mind

Thanks for that Stephen. I had to ask in Broome what this was. Must have been misinformed.
