#3 A Little Pied Cormorant posed for me against a clear background of blue sky, not too far away and nicely lit by the sun. This doesn't happen often.


All with D800, Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 + 2x TC

#3 for me too but I also quite like #2. Just enough contrast to make the bird pop a little and the fact it's actually doing something adds to it.

Wonderful photos wigz. Lovely detail and framing. We don't see the glossy tip turkeys around here. I think you have a similar variety of bird life because I have some near identical shots!
