Magpie Goose and Visitor

Not much happening at the nest although I found this visitor in attendance this morning. The bird didn't seem concerned.

When I arrived there the other day I found this waiting for me right beside my vantage point.

He disappeared into the grass behind him just after I took this shot. A bit over a metre long I think.

Excellent shot of the snake wigz! Good colours and detail. The Goose doesn't look bothered by the visitor as you say, maybe they are mates!

I'm fairly sure it is Greg. Red belly scales visible from the side, black upper parts with some brown colouring on head
