    Nice catch Greg. Like all small birds they would be hard top pin down.

          Yes pretty good all round but I'm sure the quality lens helps with that.

          Good at tracking BIF but you do need to watch it doesn't switch to something else close to subject. No problems if the sky is clear.

          Haven't used it for sports action as I tend to use the Panasonic FZ 300 for that.

          Thanks Greg. The only reason I went with the 7D is for the tracking system which is really good, even when the bird flies into different areas. I've just started to include Sony in my options if I decide to upgrade.

          I understand the tracking is more reliable to lock on with A9 and A7R111, but it's been pretty ok with the shots I've done so far. I won't be upgrading anytime soon.
