Another wonderful bird portrait Greg. Are these birds in your back yard, or do you have to travel?
There was a member on another forum I'm on that did wonderful bird shots. He was in St. Helens and went under the name of Repliconics (Trevor Jones). He had two threads Ravenswood and Scamander, He passed away in Jan. 2017. -

Thanks for the comment and it's a bit of both. I'm a volunteer at the Tasmanian Arboretum which is a 20 minute drive from home and I'm there at least once a week. This shot however, was taken in my backyard though. I've quite a few native shrubs and I have them arranged in a way that I can photograph the visitors from either the back door of my garage or out of the kitchen window. Great if you can just let them come to you instead of trying to chase them!Comment
