Help with ID

This little fella is hanging around our home and won't leave. I'd like to know what it is so I can have more confidence of how to help it out. Cheers in advance, Greg.

Very Quail like Isac. Could be a one-off coloration (Leucism). I've not seen anything else exactly like it.

I am going with quail also. Leucism most likely. lack of pigment makes it a tough ID for the likes of me

Given your location it would be a Brown or Stubble Quail. Since Brown Quails have a red eye you'd think this is probably a Stubble Quail.

Thanks for looking Mark. A birdie friend of mine has told me that it is a "Silver Button" quail.

Sorry Mark, I sent my birdie mate a photo and hadn't heard back so I called her when I read your post. She said it was a Silver Button, so that's when I posted.

I think it is a White King Quail. I could be wrong though, I usually am hahaha I hope he keeps hanging around for you.

So many different names and varieties of these white quail Lloyd. It could be one of many. I's very confusing. He has left the scene now so I don't know its fate.
