Spotted this Barn Owl out doing something on the ground at around 10am one morning mid last year just near my home along the lake. He/she then sat in the sun for about ten minutes before flying off across the lake.

Beautiful Photo Rebecca! IMHO just a tad lightening of the eyes would lift it.I Shoot A Canon

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Hi Rebecca. It appears you're having a slight problem posting your photos, so here's a link to a quick and easy method that allows you to post directly from your computer.
Using the "QUICK ATTACHMENT" method to post images.
The other method of posting from your computer is at the top menu.

Thanks for that. Sorry, had forgotten how to post images properly here
Yes it was an unusual sighting. Can not explain it as the bird didn't seem unwell and flew normally. Lightening the eyes doesn't achieve anything as they are still very dark, pupils almost completely dilated. Most of the time was spent with eyes closed. Thanks for the comments.
Rebecca
