  • 55-200 in the back yard

I find it interesting that the Kookaburras sit still when I'm around with the Fuji and the 55-200 but when I have the Nikon and the 70-200 they fly off.

      G'day mate

Hmmm - could understand it if you were using a Kannon, but a N-eye-kon does sound a bit like the bird's yodel .... all a bit of a bad yoke
Image wise - ya done okay mate - definitely a keeper

Nice detail even seemed to capture a little personality

Great portrait, nice and close and good detail. Maybe a bit more space in front but that's being picky I guess. This is a great photo for trying the "CONTENT AWARE SCALE" method (Photoshop) to add some space to the RHS. I did a tutorial on this a while back. For those interested it HERE.
