This is what I meant. Removed the distractions and added a little blue with the Colour Replacement tool.

I did a bit of work on the Sunbird pic already, here is what it looked like originally.

Nice shots that just need a bit of processing as Isac has shown. Also I think that would be a female whistler; the male has a white throat with a black bar below it. The Sunbirds are beautiful little birds. My parents used to have a pair nest outside their back door.

as I was scrolling down, I was thinking that the tree overpowered the whistler and the space behind didnt help, but I was beaten to the punch and the reposts certainly an improvement.
makes for some nice shots.

my first reaction on the sunbird is underexposed, good work on cleaing up the bg etc.

Cheers Alan. You could be right on the sex of the Whistler, after rechecking my book, originally I picked it as a juvenile male because the book shows them with a darker brown front than the female, and as you say they get the bar when they are older. I'm not really sure either way.
