I did give the brown line some consideration. Cropped down it was a little too low, although I do think it would neaten the image. I never thought of making it blue. Good idea.
Then I thought it might act like a natural frame and it hints at what the reflection in the water might be from.
I tend to agree with Charles about the brown line.
I don't think cropping it out upsets the balance/composition very much, but if you only cropped half of it out and then cloned some blue over the remaining brown - possibly at a reduced %? to achieve the same degree of 'brownness' as in the reflection might be a nice compromise
I know some people who think that the entire reflection should be shown - just wondering if you had a shot that included all of it?
Very nice - I reckon you could also crop out a tad more of the mud on the bottom, (and/or add a bit more blue on the top) - but that's a very minor nit and personal taste
I like them all phoenix. Good natural shots of mother nature in you lovely neck of the woods.
I Shoot A Canon Web: isacimages.com / My Gear / Flickr Photostream I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.
