  • Banded stilts.

I love holidays. Finally out at the estuary. Spooked by crabbers. I know it's not the sharpest.. but I really like it anyway.

Love the birds on take off! The whites look a little overdone on the second shot but a great POV.

Thank you Greg always appreciate hearing some cc. Checked my histogram.. nothing seems to be blown.. but nice to know that they are not good for the viewer.

Like how you can see the narrow DOF in the water.

Well spotted Sully. Early morning and low light. Had the Fstop at 5.6. Thank you for the feedback.

    Nicely done

Both look a bit tight to me, but you may not have much more to work with

Love the light and low pov in #2

Alan a true "put yourself in their shoes" sort of feedback that I do appreciate. The take off flight especially took me by surprise.

Simply gorgeous, especially the second. Love the low angle and the tight framing works for me. Excellent composition.

Interesting talking about the composition. I shot a variety of takes on these birds and chose this angle and composition as the best of them. The main focused target is smack centre rule of thirds...complete with water drop... the rest of the birds simply fill the frame. I actually cropped some birds out. So thank you Mick, . so glad you saw similarly.

cant see the first pic. but the 2nd is a great shot imho, this time the clutter of birds and the close cropping seem to reinforce each other. good work

Thank you Stephen. I am truly sorry I deleted the other images. I was feeling a little disparaged and had a mad culling of my Flickr. I won't do it again.
Working...
