    Phylidonyris novaehollandiae.

    Yesterday. It's a shame the 3rd bird didn't cooperate with the composition. They didn't hang around long as a Wattle Bird sent them packing.



    D90 300mm f/4 Tripod. f/4 1/1000 500 ISO. Strong back light again, so processing was a pain

      yep, that tree just keeps on giving. amazing separation from the background, birds almost look pasted on. agree that the 3rd bird lets this down too. great light and details etc in this on though. good work

        Thanks you two. Patience - maybe next time - but I think the nectar flow has stopped

        I haven't seen any birds on the flowers for a couple of days now
