It was hand held at 300mm so is not at its sharpest. I will see what it looks like.

Sharpened to within an inch of its life and reduced to 529kb from a cropped 9mb. It looks a bit like it has been cut and pasted onto the background.

Lenses are (almost) never long enough for me. I like the mistiness and prefer your original. I would try cropping just enough from the left to remove the foliage at top left. I don't think it holds up on the tighter crop.

times when you need a landscape with a bird in it. this is one of those times
but
2 distractions shoudl go 1 for sure, 1 maybe. would crop the bottom for sure, just at the line where the pointy branch is. or clone it. but I think the minor crop makes it stronger
the 2nd one is more a matter of taste. I wonder if it would be worth cloning the tree on lhs to pastel like background. if I was really picky, one bird would have been better....................

Love 1. I think in this case the birds are just the right size them seem to give the whole shot depth against a wonderful Background

Modified tree top and bottom and cut out other bird. Stuffed about with LH tree, just about hid it. I think staring at this it may be better to grey out the LH side and crop it following rules of thirds removing rh side and top.
