  • Rainbow Lorikeet

    Finally, the Tamrom 16-300mm takes a decent photo, quickly hand held, against the light and though a glass pane - go figure. The Grass Tree continues to give.



    D7000 f/6.3 1/640 250 ISO. Took a bit of editing though.

            Wonderful shot Alan. Refreshingly different from the usual bird pose.

            A lot to like here. Color, light, composition. That lens certainly is worth keeping for the bokeh.

            And not a poodle in sight. I'm sure even Bella Leibovitz would approve.

                jeez doesnt the rim light work wonders on this one. great work
                I reckon a bit of a vignette on this would lift it further, not enough to be noticable but darken the light stuff a bit on the right. not as far in as the bird but perhaps where the light hints at a vignette?
