Smart Magpie-larks

A friend has these nesting on a downpipe beside her deck so I went to try some photos. Not really successful though. They are in the shade with a bright background and I couldn't get square on to adult + chicks, so insufficient depth of field. Here's a few pics anyway. This is the third year they have used this nest and had three chicks each year. Lost one this year though.
