Comb-crested Jacana

I've been trying to get a close shot of one of these for quite a while. This isn't it as it's a fairly heavy crop. They are fairly small and seem to keep their distance.


Nikon D800, Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 + 1.4 TC

Still looks quite good even though it's a heavy crop. I don't recall ever seeing one of these birds before.

Thanks Brad, I'm happy with the shot - it just isn't big enough. They should be fairly common in wetlands all around northern half of the coast.
