You're making the most of these Alan. Lovely background in the first. Pity there wasn't more DOF, but you've nailed focus on the eye and that's what counts. Lots of detail in the second.

good work on these too. some more DOF in the first would be nice, depending on the distance to the background you can stop down a bit more. point blank doesnt give you a whole lot of DOF but so long as the eye is good you are mostly ok
