  • Baby Coots

Spring is everywhere right now - even at our local lake. The baby Eurasian Coots are having a great time with plenty of food and water.

I'm going back tomorrow - I hope, and taking the siggy 150-500 to get a bit closer. These were taken with the Tammy 16-300, just a bit short.

Thanks Greg - that's usually my response too with my Tammy

      Good luck

Alan, I don't mind the Tammy - now it's micro settings have been corrected - and I do like the 16-300 range for a nice walk around lens, but I do think the 150-500 is a lot more practical for the birds at the lake. I'll go up this afternoon and take both lenses and see what happens.
