  • Dive Bombers

    Just a follow up from my previous post of the Lapwing. Thanks for the comments both Alan and Steven and I suspect you both would be struggling to get perfection with that particular camera. I accept that a higher ISO and faster shutter may have given a better result but as I mentioned in my comment.. The bird was not in the area of focal points at any stage.

    Here's a few shots of Lapwings diving on me I took a few years back with a different camera set up.

      the last one has appeal to me, the blur implies a sense of motion. the blur around the beak means that you can really sense it telling you off

        Thanks Stephen given that they were diving at a 'million miles and hour' I was happy to get anything at all.
        It's very hard to imply speed when using high shutter speeds
