D7000 Tamron 16-300mm @300mm, (which continues to disappoint. I might need to revisit my micro focus adjustments)
f/6.3 1/640 400 ISO Some cropping involved, so I might be asking too much.

The sharpness doesn't look up to your usual standard Alan. I think that lens would struggle to compete with your 300 f4.

sharpness issues already mentioned might be worth confirming focus though and making making the micro adjustments if required. light angle not the kindest to you either. low angle and compostion are good though.
