Had more luck with the Peregrine Falcon

The peregrine was a bit easier to capture. Even thought they are one of the fastest birds in the world.

Lovely bird. There's one hunting plover chicks regularly on the park opposite home. Be a miracle to get a shot of it!

did well getting one in the viewfinder. we photographed one at dee why once and it was ok as she came in but point blank I couldnt turn my body quick enough

She was tracking on basically the same route around the keeper, so we had a fair idea of where to find it.
Still hard though.

Nice job, like the wing spread and eye is nice and sharp in 1 and 3.
I've never succeeded in shooting a bird coming straight at me with great clarity, even the slow ones.
Wonderful bird to photograph.
