  • Sulpher-crested cockatoo

Little while back I was camped on the banks of the Fitzroy River and saw a small flock of cockies come down to the river just before sundown. So the next day I got to the spot about ten minutes earlier.

With only about five minutes of good light still available this lovely cocky turned up and perched nearby.

Gotta love it when the birds learn the rules and turn up at the right time and land on the correct perch.
