Went looking for Dotterels, but found some Welcome Swallows instead.

Great to get these little fellas Alan - they are so quick. I have had little success with them BUT have got some good keepers though. The BG is rather unusual, can you elaborate on that? The colours look great.

Thanks Greg. The B/G is a sand dune. I was lying on the sand using a bean bag as lens support.

They kept returning to this stick, so when I saw one coming in I just fired the shutter in High Speed burst mode and hoped for the best - only these 2 keepers of BIFs
