My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

I've decided to get the 16-300 as a walk around lens just to have a good zoom range. I know it's not the greatest lens but for under $600 I think it may be value for money. Is yours OK?

Yes, mine is fine - with a bit of processing the image quality is good.
The only problem I've found is that it wouldn't auto focus properly on my D90, (which is the camera I wanted it for as I like to have the Nikon 300mm on my D7000) so now I've got the Tamron on the D7000 and the focusing is fine, just a bit frustrating at times to have to change lenses when I really want to have the lenses on the opposite cameras (first world problem)
