I like pigeons. I found a baby pigeon years ago, and he lived with me for 20+ years. He was a homing pigeon, and he knew where home was! Slept in a box in the laundry every night.

They are highly intelligent birds, and lead the list of animals awarded the Dickin Medal, awarded to animals for bravery during WW2. 32 pigeons, 18 dogs, three horses, and one cat received this award.
