All good shots Mark. That wren looks incredibly angry - definitely not his best angle. The front on view in #2 doesn't make this bird look angry, she looks rather sweet sitting on her nest. I like the finch shot but find the yellow grass heads distracting - maybe reduce the yellow saturation and just mask it on over them.

Agree with P Plates. The little finch is a beauty but the blurry grass heads spoil the shot.

I really like the bird on the nest. What is it? I'm not familiar with that one.

It's a Grey Fantail Greg.
The two adults share the the egg sitting. they have become quite used to my chats and whistles so lets hope they get to raise some chicks.
