Excellent series of shots Mark. I like the tension in the last shot, but I think it would look better if you rotated it a bit.Cheers, Brad.

3 out of 4 is good for no exif data Mark. They are all great images but #4 for me - action a plenty and doing what the whistlers do, preparing to attack! #2 I like as well and that sky colour is very unusual - but it suits.
On another note - when posting a series, if you number the images when you do a series, it does make it easier as a reference when members comment on your excellent workI Shoot A Canon

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Numbering your images is just a courtesy thing when there is more than 3 photos, to help out other members when they are typing comments about a photo in your series. Halfway through typing the comment you sometimes have to refer back to the image and if it's not numbered you will have to count down from the top. Maybe I'm being silly but I know it's a great help to me, especially if there's four or more shots. What do other members think?Last edited by Isac; 20-12-2015, 03:45 PM.

Nice series Mark.
#1 is a bit busy in the B/G and the angle is a bit steep, but you can't tell a bird where to sit
#2 is a ripper - clean B/G nice pose and an open beak with eye contact and catch light. I'd maybe crop some off the bottom and shame the claws are concealed.
#3 Always nice to get a BIF in flight - often the underside is in shadow though
#4 another ripper photo with better light and great action. A bit soft maybe due to a crop or slight motion blur? Agree about the slight rotation.
Another thing you can add to your posts is what, if any, PP you have done eg cropping. Having the exif data available is also useful in making comments, (you just don't want it so big and pale in every post, but you seem to be getting that under control)
Cheers

Thanks for you thoughts Alan. Sums most things up well.
#4 was cropped a little but the bird was moving fast and coming towards me, so I can deal with the slightly soft (insert smiley icon)
Do you really expect my to remember what PPing I did. . And the ExIF data (not that that tells the whole story) is attached to and available on all the images I've posted.
