Sea Eagle

White Breasted Sea Eagle.
This is the first one of these that I have seen on my property.
I spotted a Whistling Kite circling above the trees behind my house, I climbed up the hill to try and get a clear shot, but when I got up there, the Kite was nowhere to be seen.
I was surprised to see this Eagle sitting in a tree high up on the hill, I got a couple of shots of it before it flew away, my inflight shots were a disaster, so I won't show them here .

Cheers Mick and PPlates. I was a bit surprised when I realised what I was seeing up in the top of the tree. My house is about 25km's from the ocean, my bird book shows their range to go quire a way inland, so maybe it should be no surprise.
