  • Figbirds

I took the camera out for a walk this afternoon, got a few bird pics, nothing special, but I thought I would post these Figbirds as they were probably the pick of the bunch.

Both good captures Ironwood. #1 for me. I took the liberty and altered a few things. I removed the skinny branch behind the bird and the knobby bit of tree top rhs corner, shadows lift to give more detail in the wing and a few other places, burn tool on the branches before adding a bit of colour to them and levels adjust to brighten it a little. I do like the framing and the posture of the bird too.

Cheers Isac. Thanks for taking the trouble to do some improvements and the explanation.
As you can probably tell, I am a pretty casual shooter, and my PP matches that.
One day soon I hope to have more time on my hands, then I can put more effort into improving my photography. Until then I will still have fun, just a little time poor though
      Cheers, Brad.

I fully understand Ironwood. It does take a fair bit of time this photography and editing thing. I like your work - keep at it.
