Nice clean shots with good detail. A slight head turn towards the camera would've been nice but thems the breaks.

Some days they just won't play the game . I did get some shots looking at the camera when he was on a different branch, but because he was in the shadows the pics were not very good. The big Tamron likes plenty of light I am afraid.

Lovely shots of this beautiful bird. Would love to find some more co-operative birds and I know the frustration of low light as my Sigma doesn't play well with that either.

Thanks PP. The birds always seem to be more cooperative when I don't have my camera, I think Murphy comes into play

All been said above. Just have to get the eye contact - maybe clapping hands?

Bird tog purists would like to see the feet and tail in #1.

#2 could maybe benefit from a bit of Blue desat? That branch is a bit overpowering - but as has been said - you take what you get

I had a bit of a play to try and reduce the blue, it wasn't easy to get a good balance. The tree is a Cadagi, so the bark is actually green, that seems to throw things off a bit too.
I have lost the true colour of the birds blue feathers, but the background perhaps looks a bit better.

Thanks for having a go. The B/G looks much better imho

My fault for not being more clear about selective desat - I like the bird's blue wings so I'd leave them untouched

                Good work
