Good framing and colours Kevin. A bit of a focus issue though. The exif data shows a slow shutter (100) and f:10. I have pretty good success rate using the following settings.
Shutter priority (Tv) / Auto ISO / Shutter speed 1000 - 1600 / f:5.6 - f:8. I also use Back Button focus and set my image size to Medium (not FINE) - this will give a sharper image / Spot metering and focus point to single expanded. You can save these setups to your custom settings - makes it easy to get to when you want them. Give it a go next time you're out and see how it goes.

I agree with Isac regarding the shutter speed. Does seem rather low, and f10 is a bit excessive.

Looking at the grass/feet area, the focus looks OK. The blurred head may be due more to movement. Birds are never still for long, so an adequate shutter speed is necessary.

It might be interesting to have a discussion regarding camera setting we use for different areas of photography. Birds, for example. My settings would be rather different to those suggested by Isac, but that's ok. Whatever gives you the desired results.

My indecision is final, I think.
