  • Square tailed Kite and Magpies

    This bird was quietly minding it's own business cruising low over the dunes



    When a couple of magpies took exception to it's presence.

    Great timing Alan. Maggies are very territorial. That 16-300 looks as though it cuts the mustard as a walk around lens. I'm nearly convinced

      Good series Alan. Kites are not particularly popular in birdland, the woodswallows up here pursue them without mercy

        Great captures. Always amazes me when I see smaller birds chasing/attacking raptors.
