    The curlew was in quite a clear area for a change - although his mate was more concealed.

    Nice collection,love the Curlews pose and the sheen on the Crows is awesome.The Brahminy looks a touch soft,is it a large crop?A very nice walk by the look of it.

          A great set P Plates.

          #1 and #2 are my favorites. You have exposed beautifully to capture the texture and detail of the white birds - not easy to achieve in what appears to be a harshish light. (Harshish is a word. If it isn't, it should be!) And the blue water as a background works a treat.

            Thanks for the comments everyone. The kite was high in a tree Kevin and I always struggle with the Sigma at that angle so probably not the sharpest and a reasonable crop. The light gets harshish quickly up north and I'll blame having to wait for a builder to arrive rather than my liking a warm bed for longer in the cooler months for not getting out earlier.
