Kingfisher and gull

From this mornings walk
Not sure which kind and quite a heavy crop
At least the gulls are less wary of humans

Lucky to see the kingfisher, they are pretty scarce down here. The seagull is a juvenile.

Looks like a Sacred Kingfisher Gabby. Shame about the light and crop, but birds seldom cooperate.

Thanks Greg and Alan. There have been three of these rather small kingfishers hanging around lately, always on the low rocks and always backlit which isn't ideal but as you say, always nice to see them.
