Was the male out of frame to the left in #1 - she looks like she's telling someone off, looks positively fierce. Great capture. Also like the shot of the parrot, although their colouring isn't as stunning at this stage. You seem to have a nice collection of very photogenic birds in your new area.

No males nearby, unfortunately - they must be away building bowers or collecting blue things?

I have a couple of different birds here, but lots of shade and busy backgrounds. Not the variety and nowhere near as many bird photos being taken
