  • Brown Honeyeater

Brown Honeyeater. What a morning it was - honeyeaters, willy wag tails, mudlarks. All making a racket. Neil Diamond is doing a gig here soon and it reminded me of "What a Beautiful Noise".

Great light painting up those angled reeds and a bird as a bonus

Thanks Gaz. It just stayed there clinging to the palm tree. You have to grab 'em when you can.

Now you've mentioned it, they do look more like palm leaves than reeds "What was I thinking?"

Nice shot Isac. I hear birds but finding them in dense foliage is often impossible.

Thanks P Plates. I hear lots of birds and today a flock of about 20-30 White Cheeked Honeyeaters had a wonderful time in one of our 2 Little Gem Magnolia trees. It sounded wonderful so out came the camera and I shot about 12 or more photos. They are so small and very hard to get a good focus on them in the thick foliage. But a few are pretty good.
