I have an option on my smugmug site to increase sharpening for images that are downsized for posting on forums, might have to check what that is currently set at.

Most images on my site are about 4000px across and seem to suffer badly when I post them here. I know some sharpening is applied but looks like it's not enough. Soft images become tiresome to view after a while.

Probably. This is from a colony of terns on one of the beaches north of Broome and I drop in from time to time to see if I can catch some action. The main group was a few hundred metres away and this one was heading in that direction.

They chase the bait schools up and down the beach so as well as getting some bif action I also get a lot of exercise.
