    I shoot a Canon 90D with a few bits of glass.

    Great photo, magnificent colour and well captured shot. I like the look in the eye. Its in breeding plumage and one can almost guess its seen a potential mate down the paddock. Lovely photo.
    Canon, 5D MK3 5D Mk11 300mm f2.8, 28-300 f3.5-5.6, 70-200 f2.8, 100 Macro.

      Lovely to see them in their breeding plumage.

      B/G looks a bit odd/noisy? is this a large crop? I can't see the exif data and none provided or PP info

      It's also quite tall (1024 pxls), which means a bit of scrolling to see it all. Maybe consider resizing to 800/900 tall? so we can appreciate it in one view

      I want a photo like this

          The Cattle Egrets are very skittish at the moment,so getting close is difficult,and,I must admit,I forgot to do any NR in post,might rework it and repost.

            the cattle egrets my way seem no more jumpy then usual. some were quite close too. managed a portrait of one with the tc on the lens too. how close do you think this guy is in this pic?
