Our local camera club had a photowalk this morning at a local wetlands.

Well done to catch that reflection, but the bird get's a bit lost in the background.

I would imagine having a club at the wetlands would make it quite hard to sneak up on the birds!
The heron is nicely posed and well captured in its habitat.
I've decided lately that birds should take some responsibilty for their image, so blame the bird I say for not landing in a field of nicely contrasting daisies.

some stuff you just cant do in a group. sneaking up on a bird is one of those things..........
background hasnt done you any favours here. nice getting the reflection in and all but the birdy gets lost in the background imho

I agree he does get a bit lost but I'm taking Jo's suggestion and blaming the bird . Not much chance of creeping up on birds here, he was just below a walkway with absolutely no cover to use for stalking.
