Fantail and Kooka

At Tuross Heads today.

Amazing how the Kooka could sense and find an earthworm in the grass from 15 mts away.

D7000 300mm x1.7TC Tripod. 1/800 f7.1 800 ISO. I had to provde a quick, rough perch in the sun as they were returning to a shaded tree after catching insects. Might get some better shots in the morning light tomorrow

Well done on the Fantail,they rarely sit still for more than 1/2 a second,love the low angle on the Kooka,nice detail and eye contact in both images.The B/G in #1 looks a touch noisy on my screen,but not a real detraction from a nice image.
