    Why is it when you see a bird you've never seen in the wild before, nature conspires against you getting a good shot. Extremely gusty winds yesterday I could see my lens doing circles when fully extended and of course didn't have a tripod with me.

        What gorgeous glossy colours that jabiru has and terrific eye contact too.
        Those water lilies in the last one..(maybe a little crooked) make it look like an amazing scene altogether.

            Thanks guys. Oops about the crooked horizon, I often never notice them but a leaning building stands out like hazard lights to me.

              Wind and birding are not a great combination lol. Well done for the perseverence to capture sharp images under those conditions.
