    Think you're right about the ID Sully. Looked in the only book I have on birds and it appears the species common in Tassie is called Silvereye.

    Shot taken with Sony A65 @ 300mm F6.3 1/160 ISO 200 with flash.

      That's much better. Love the lighting and the colour although the bird, especially the head, could be a little brighter. It looks to me like the focus might be on the flowers at top left as they look a bit sharper than the bird. Still a nice shot.
