They all seem to be on worm hunts at the moment. The birds are working all of the sports grounds and grassy areas close to the seaside. I wonder what the effects of herbicide might have on these guys as it's only a week or so since commercial spraying was done in the area.

Hopefully no effect, they are such an attractive bird. -
They are a pretty bird.
It's nesting/baby time so it's possible that they are feeding chicks.

Some sorts of pesticide damage often isn't recognised for a generation.
Hopefully they were using some relatively harmless salts based herbicide.Comment
